IP Basics & USPTO Resources for SBIR/STTR Applicants & Support Organizations – 6/19/20

If you participate in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, you can’t afford to ignore intellectual property (IP). Understanding patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights is necessary to protect your ideas, products, and product names in today’s knowledge economy. This free 90-minute webinar, on Friday, June 19 @ 12pm, covers IP basics, the USPTO resources available to small business, and the basics of the SBIR/STTR program. Space is limited, so please register early.

Please note USPTO will host a separate series of webinars between June 22-30, 2020 open only to small businesses engaged in either Phase 1 or Phase 2 of the SBIR/STTR programs. More information about how to register for those webinars can be found HERE.
