The 2020 Applicant Assistance Program (AAP) Webinar has been rescheduled to September 17, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT. We encourage those who are participating in the January 2021 application cycle to attend and learn how you can receive FREE expert support for building a strong Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding application.
Register Here! |
AAP is designed to help small businesses applying for Phase I SBIR/STTR funding by providing services such as application needs assessment, mentoring, application preparation support, and application review. The deadline, Thursday, September 24, 2020, is fast-approaching. If you are interested in participating, submit your application ASAP through the AAP Application Portal.
Program eligibility is limited to small businesses who have not previously won an SBIR or STTR award from the NIH.
One of the goals of AAP is to increase participation in the SBIR/STTR program by businesses that are owned or controlled by individuals who are traditionally underrepresented in the biomedical sciences. Therefore, NIH is particularly interested in applications from socially/economically disadvantaged small businesses (SDB), women-owned small business (WOSB), and small businesses located in under-represented states.
For questions on the program, please contact NCI SBIR Program Director, Patti Weber (weberpa@mail.nih.gov).
