The Women-CAN program includes the following services, and participants can use any of these services in any order:

• BBCetc SBIR/STTR Training: Receive training on SBIR/STTR programs and a detailed review of specific agencies’ proposal requirements.
• BBCetc One-on-One Consulting: BBCetc consultants have combined expertise across all 11 SBIR funding agencies. Receive assistance selecting an agency, access to our tools and templates, and iterative reviews of proposals.
• Capita3 Leadership Training Capita3 Leader Programs transform startup founders and CEO’s into confident leaders who achieve their highest potential. To Qualify for Women-CAN:

1. The company must be Women-owned
   1. >51% women owners
   2. The company can self-certify (ie: SBA “WOSB” certification is NOT required)
   3. If you are still forming a company, you still may be eligible for Women-CAN. Preference will be given to companies already formed
2. The company intends to submit to SBIR/STTR or already has an SBIR/STTR award

As a reminder, there are two main offerings as part of Women-CAN, and women can participate in one or both in any order.  There is NO COST to participate in either of these offerings.

1. BBCetc services that support innovators that are applying to the SBIR/STTR program.  Founders can apply to access our services any time up until July 15, 2024 and can get started with us right away.
2. The Leader Launch program run by Capita3.  The January cohort is full.  The remaining cohorts for the 4-week long course will be:
   • February 7, 14, 21, 28.  Application deadline is Jan 24 (coming up soon!)
   • March 13, 20, 27, Ap 3.  Application deadline is Feb 28
   • April 3, 10, 17, 24.  Application deadline is March 20
