Air Force FY12 RIF (Rapid Innovation Fund) Solicitation
Air Force Research Laboratory Contracting Directorate (AFRL/PK) issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) soliciting white papers for its FY ’12 Air Force Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF) Program. Efforts awarded under this BAA should resolve operational challenges characterized by the following four (4) critical national security areas of particular interest to the Air Force, or Joint Urgent Operational Needs, with an Air Force application.
- Rapid Fielding to Support Overseas Contingency Operations
- Cyberspace Superiority and Mission Assurance
- Improved System Sustainment
- Power Generation and Energy for Platforms
This BAA is open to any technologies, products, or processes at the component, subsystem, or system level demonstrating near-term potential to address Air Force requirements. Air Force SBIR
The Air Force has pre-released it’s topics for the DoD SBIR 2013.1 solicitation (see above). NOW is the time to discuss technical aspects of these requirements with the Air Force technical point of contact (TPOC) for the sponsoring organization. No discussions are allowed after December 16, 2012.
