Letter of Intent Required by January 14
The National Science Foundation has released its STTR grants solicitation (NSF 08-608) with an opening date of January 25, 2009 closing on February 25, 2009. Letter of intent is required by January 14, 2009. This solicitation focuses on the topic of Multi-Functional Materials (MM) that contains four subtopics:
- Bio-inspired Materials and Systems (BMS)
- Materials for Sustainability (MS)
- Nanostructured Materials (NM)
- Smart Materials and Structures (SMS)
Submission must be done via NSF’s Fastlane and http://www.grants.gov.
The solicitation is available on the NSF’s SBIR Web site.
IPart clients considering applying for this opportunity would need to submit their Pre-Proposal Application electronically by Wednesday, January 28, 2009, for the Wednesday, February 25, 2009 deadline.
