USAF Agility Prime Opportunity & TEAMUp Event – July 18-19

Mobility is poised to completely change how the U.S. Air Force and society as a whole move people and material.

Enabling technologies in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS),  vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), flight controls, efficient powering systems, “detect and avoid” systems, positioning systems, security and many others are poised to lead a revolution in transportation and logistics. This revolution is likely to rival the advancement of early aviation technology, implementation of semiconductors in electronics, and the growth and evolution of the internet.

This message is to alert you to Agility Prime Advanced Air Mobility, a new USAF sponsored program to help usher the ‘not yet’ into the ‘now’ to enable this transformation. Companies, research institutions, and universities will have the opportunity to compete for an estimated $10M worth of Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contracts that will be awarded within 90 days of the event for contract values up to $150K.

Agility Prime will be implemented via the STTR Program, encouraging and requiring collaboration between company applicants and a university/research institution.

Agility Prime will accept Open Topic proposals, allowing any technologies that can significantly contribute to the Agility Prime mission, whether on the list at right or not, to apply.

Agility Prime proposals for $150K Phase 1 awards are expected to be due in late August.

Agility Prime will host a TeamUp event to allow companies and researchers to join the AFWERX team virtually on July 15th and 16th to learn about near-term research and development funding opportunities for Agility Prime Advanced Air Mobility related technologies. Click here to register.

APEX stands ready to help entrepreneurs and researchers in their quest for SBIR/STTR awards from the U.S. Air Force. To learn more, visit www.apexinnovates.com, or contact me using my contact information in my signature block.
