Solicitation/BAA Number: 68HERC24R0185

EPA’s 2024-2025 SBIR PhI Solicitation is open! The solicitation will support eligible small businesses in the development and commercialization of innovative environmental technologies. EPA is one of 11 federal agencies that participate in the SBIR Program. With this solicitation, EPA is calling for small businesses to apply for Phase I awards of up to $100,000 to demonstrate proof of concept in one of this year’s SBIR solicitation topics. The solicitation identifies specific topics under the broad focus areas of clean and safe water, air quality & climate, homeland security, sustainable materials/circular economy and safer chemicals. Successful Phase I awardees are eligible to receive Phase II funding, up to $400,000 for two years, through an additional application process. More information can be found on the EPA SBIR Funding Opportunities Page.

EPA SBIR held an informational webinar on the upcoming Phase I solicitation earlier this month. In case you missed the event, look through the presentation slides or find an answer you may be looking for in the Q&A document, both of which are found on the event’s webpage.
