DOE – 2011 Phase I SBIR/STTR Application Pre-Submission Requirements

The Department of Energy (DOE) is planning issue the 2011 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program Funding Opportunity Announcement in October, 2010.    To help you avoid roadblocks during the submission of your application through, we offer the following reminder:

  • Have a Dun and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number;
  • Are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system; and
  • Are registered in the system.

We strongly encourage use of the Organization Registration Checklist at to guide you through the process.  Applicants, who are not registered with CCR and, should allow at least 21 days to complete these requirements.  It is suggested that the process be started as soon as possible.
