Applications for New Awards; National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) – SBIR
Phase I Program

Overview Information:
Awards will be in the form of discretionary grants with a maximum of $75,000 and a duration of  six months. Projects funded by NIDRR must address the needs of individuals with disabilities. Project activities may include:

1) conducting manufacturing-related R&D that encompasses improvements in existing methods or processes, or wholly new processes, machines, or systems, that benefit individuals with disabilities;

2) exploring the uses of technology to ensure equal access to education, employment, community environments, and information for individuals with disabilities; and

3) improving the quality and utility of disability and rehabilitation research.
