Bringing Science to the Marketplace: The NCI’s Small Business Innovation Research Program

Do you have a small business that’s bringing advances in technology, treatments, and imaging to the forefront of cancer care?

Then join NCI’s Office of Cancer Centers for a FREE webinar Thursday, September 8, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, ET, to learn how to tap into the resources of the National Cancer Institute’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, two of the largest sources of early-stage technology financing in the United States.

During this webinar, NCI SBIR Development Center leaders will discuss new and existing initiatives to help small businesses further commercialize their innovations, including funding opportunities such as the recently announced $8M in contract funding opportunities, and the Phase II Bridge Award. Additionally, an SBIR grantee will share how he strategically leveraged the SBIR Program to help raise investor funding and advance his company’s cancer technology to the next stage of development.
