Technology Commercialization Services Grant (Pilot Program)
This Program has Been Placed on Hold Due to Budgetary Constraints
IPart plans to develop a Technology Commercialization Services assistance grant program in 2009. This program will provide assistance to companies in the steps necessary to reach the developmental stage of commercialization.
The commercialization program will also provide grant funds to worthy applicants to obtain services designed to assist technology entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to help them to take their technologies to market.
Eligible uses include:
- Market strategy development
- Business planning services
- Rapid prototyping
- Fees associated with patents, trademarks and copyrights
IPart will create guidelines, an application, proposal acceptance schedule, a threshold dollar amount for awards, and will form a new Commercialization Funding Review Committee.
